NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 12.04 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 7.28 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 7.26 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 5.74 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 2.70 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 2.65 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: : 2.52 crore), Hind Const Co (number of shares traded: 2.51 crore), Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 2.28 crore) and Adani Power (number of shares traded: 2.01 crore) were among the most traded stocks on the National Stock Exchange as of 11:15 a.m. during Wednesday’s session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading down 63.45 points at 17289.0, while BSE Sensex was down 266.43 points at 57875.62 at the time of writing.

In the Nifty Index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 3.28%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 2.53%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.68% %), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.20 percent) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.18 percent) were among the top gainers.

While Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 2.78%), State Bank of India (down 1.57%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down 1.40%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 1.32%) and ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.28%) was among the biggest losers in the index.
