CARPINTERY — The Carpinteria Museum Marketplace sold out all of its retail space, giving shoppers a wide range of options, including antiques, collectibles, handcrafted art and decor, plants, and vintage items.

The monthly market, held on the last Saturday of each month, is held at the Carpinteria Valley History Museum, 956 Maple Ave., Carpinteria. The July market is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

“These flea markets are beloved community events, which have grown over three decades to become one of the premier local venues for vintage goods and the artisan market,” said museum director David Griggs, in a press release.

The museum’s exhibit galleries and historical exhibits will be open for extended hours during the event and will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the museum or market is free.

For more information, visit or call 805-684-3112. Tax-deductible donations of household items for the museum booth can be dropped off at the back patio of the museum anytime except Sundays.
